I have looked at the work of Sugimoto before but wanted to draw upon this series, which is taken inside a cinema. I like the work becuase it draws upon both the still and moving image, and uses one to capture the other. I think this is a great way to interact with the medium itself, which is something that has interested me for a long time – photography which explores photography.
